It’s a wonder how ignorance affects our world.

When all the little people stand
For problems they don’t understand
Their words ring true in others’ ears,
Others who think they’re wise with years.
One day the little people will
Finally reach the windowsill
To see the view their parents don’t,
Or close their eyes and simply won’t.
And some will look around and see
Their misled teachers grow to be
The leaders of our mortal years,
And bring destruction to their peers.

When someone tells us something and we don’t know any better or have no way of getting the knowledge for ourselves is difficult to not believe. Excellent poem.

A beautifully written and flowing poem with a thought provoking message. Well done.

Wow… I’m truly impressed. That’s some of the best poetry I’ve read lately. It’s beautifully written–nice structure, btw–and has a deep and important message about the danger of ignorance. They seriously need to make an “I Love It” button for stuff like this :)

You are truly very enigmatic. I love your work. Perhaps we are kindred spirits.
