Poem about Winter and Christmas.
Winter’s cold
Frozen grass
Frost has covered
the window glass
Snow has fallen
on the ground
Weathered faces
All around
Children playing in the snow
Gloves and down coats
Cheeks aglow
By the fires
Parents sit
Drinking wine
With candles lit
Hide away
the dirt and grey
The past lies hidden
washed away
The world is sleeping
In blankets white
The moon is lighting
Up the night
