Snow gently drifts from the sky above and lays upon the ground.

Plants smothered by white never to be green until the warmth of spring arrives.

Water flows along the frozen river restricted by a thin layer of ice, set free by the sudden drop, it rushes down the rocky ledge and feeds the river below.

The ground once punished by heat, must now burden the freezing snow.
