Here is another love poem I wrote. This one was finished on November 11th, 2009. This one is a little more risky and provocative than my normal set. My girlfriend and I really enjoy the cold weather, so I kept that in mind when I wrote this. Hope you like it.

Winter comes, and we dance to the wind

It caresses my face, it whistles in her hair

The cold is wholesome, the cold is kind

Just like her skin, the snow is pure and fair

The snow falls, as we do for each other

Barefooted and topless on the icy lake

We relish the cold, warm as we smother

Held in arms, dreaming the love we’d make

With melted sleet ocean, the ice is our beach

Hot and fogged breath between our pressing

A freezing, numbing climax is just out of reach

Our bodies drenched heavy in this winter blessing

We lie satisfied in a blanket of snow, waiting for spring

Love will come again, but not before we hear the wind sing
