A Poem…

When wintry winds and cold abound

And whiteness covers all the ground,

When days are clad in sleet and snow

And leafless trees sway to and fro,

I dream about a summer’s morn

When all the world is sweet and warm.

When butterflies and bees float free

Among each flower and each tree-

Oh such wondrous reverie-

Gentle thoughts wash over me.

My soul now sings a joyous sound;

My thoughts now travel heavenbound.

For all I have and all I see,

Dearest Lord, I owe to Thee!
