Everybody wishes for something.

How often have I found myself,

Wishing I could fly?

Wishing I could soar,

Across the starlit sky?

How often have I found myself,

Wishing that this dream

Of swimming in the clouds

Was closer than it seemed?

And how often have I thought

That life must be great

When you live beneath the waters

Liberated of your weight?

How many times desired

To wear a royal gown?

My smile competing with the luster

Of gemstones in my crown?

How often have I wished

To stand upon a stage?

To show the world my feelings,

And let go of all rage?

How often have I found myself,

Unable to decide?

With a lack of courage that,

In the end,

Gives up and shoves these dreams aside?
