Our gift for the future generations.

Within the mind lay shadowed mist,

Dark recesses the light never kissed.

Where deep secrets are held in store,

From hidden truths none can explore.

Fear compels us to stay the reach,

Reasoning tells us do not beseach.

Unfathomed are the echoed halls,

With no one to receive the silent calls.

Lost may be the wisdom held within,

Fon none can brave the unknown den.

Though to prosper may be the reward,

There is none so brave to step toward.

So the recesses lay unsearched and still,

Offering not to the spirit’s fill.

Longing for discovery to come at last,

Telling the lesson of future’s past.

As a quenching desire to the thirst,

Upon a trek from last to first.

With fires to burn without dispelling,

Releasing the knowledge without the telling.

With sprouts of wisdom to take the turn,

And bless our children with what we learn.
