This is my own variation on the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf story. It starts from his childhood so that you get the WHOLE story!
Jerry had a little wolf
Whose fur was dull and black
All the pigs mocked him at school
And he swore he’d get them back
Of all the pigs, there were just three
That really made Wolf mad
They’d say, “Oh no! The Big Bad Wolf!”
In the most mocking tones they had
So every night, poor little Wolf
Would go straight home and cry
But then one day, he finally snapped
He wanted the pigs to die!
From that day on, the little wolf
Would work out hard and long
He knew one day, the pigs would pay
He’d show them they were wrong
Slowly, surely, day by day
The wolf gained more respect
He thought the pigs would be afraid
And, mostly, he was correct
But there were still those three bad pigs
They wouldn’t give it up
They joked and squealed and laughed at him
Now Wolf had had enough
But Wolf grew up, as did the pigs,
And went their separate ways
Although, as fate would have it,
They would meet another day
Though that day was quite far off
It crept up, looming near
They lived their lives, not knowing
Of that day they should have feared
It all started one morning
When Wolf got up and said,
“I sure would love some bacon,
That would get me out of bed.”
So with the thought of crispy meat,
Wolf rummaged all around
But after searching everywhere
No bacon had been found
“Now, what can I eat for breakfast?”
Wolf wondered, as he thought,
“I don’t want eggs or cereal.
And waffles? Certainly not.”
“Or maybe I will have bacon,”
Wolf said with an evil grin,
“I’ll go and find those awful pigs.
I’ll blow their doors right in!”
So Wolf put on his meanest look,
He ruffled up his hair
“I’ll creep right up behind those pigs,
I’ll give them an awful scare.”
And with that, Wolf was on his quest
To find those pigs, those hogs
He asked anybody that he could,
The birds, the trees, the frogs
It seemed like no one knew a thing
Then, finally, some luck!
Wolf got some helpful information
From a passing duck
“The pigs that yar be lookin’ for,”
