I am truly a wolf inside. This is my expression of that.
Beneath my human skin is another kind of skin
Two different hearts are beating within
Two souls live inside one mortal home
But when you hear me speak, the voice is not my own.
The human spirit cast aside, I let my howl ring loud
When humanity is weak my wolf-soul stands tall and proud
Many people jeer at me and laugh at all my flaws
Soon they’ll be nothing more than bloodstains on my claws.
Yes, under this fleshy exterior, a stronger creature waits
With teeth of purest white, to protect me from the hate
I get from normal people, who can never understand
What it means to be anything else besides a man.
