You can share them, Honey. Share the moment.

mermaids

Woman of the sea.
You can share them, Honey.
Share the moment.

You don’t have to look at them when they pull you from your shipwreck,
even when they’re so close.
They could have watched you sink right to the Ocean floor,
but it’s not what they chose.

Woman of the sea.
They’re only there for you.
To save you.
To let you live again.
But don’t ever, ever tell them no.
They’ll go away and leave you alone.
Woman of the sea.
They were born a long time ago.
But no-one has ever known,
the natural beauty of a woman,
could hypnotise a man,
by the tender touch of her hand.

If you ever see something so beautiful, a stranger,
one you’ve never seen before.
Would you even think to ask where she came from,
or just look from afar.

But I’ll tell you, Honey, she’s not what she seems.
If you decide to follow her till midnight, you are bound to see
Woman of the sea.

You see her hair rise up and fall like starlight,
reflecting on the waves.
You just have to sit and watch the metamorphosis of an Angel,
dancing on her stage.
And watch her change.
