Dear lord, even though I have been ungrateful,
impeached from holiness by the
dirgeous stench of sin,
you forgive me day by day,
yet out of ignorance my lips never tremble,
because I’ve forgotten how much you love me,
and do the things I do,
say the things I say,
forgetting your presence

I’ve been foolish in my ways of folly,
eating the bread of the Israelites
when Moses led them to the promise land,
the bread of ungratefulness,
yet wonderful, everlasting and faithful father,
you continue to send the word
to me in my dreams,
you still bless me with visions of the future,
you tell stories of times to come

wonderful lord,
forgive my stupidity,
forgive my perverseness,
each day I shall recommit my soul
to your spirit,
as you did readily on the cross
for our permanent freedom,
with the innocence of your blood,
dear lord I smile,
at your ministry and the immortality
of that blessed deed,
you gave your all,
you gave your life,
for our freedom,
to release us from the captivity of our own sins,
father thank you,
you are mightily wonderful

Father, I thank you for amplifying my gifts,
thank you for blessing me with talents
everyday of my life,
no one on this world can ever die on the cross
for our lives,
no one can be as merciful as you have been,
eternal father, may your name be praised.
