You are half right, the thing is that ¡ is not I but the exclamation sign, in Spanish we use both of them, the one that opens the exclamation(¡) and the one that closes it (!).
I forgot that in English only is used the one that closes the sentence, I will correct it at once, thank you for the advise. My best regards for you my friend.

I think you need to be careful about this sentence,"¡and you."

It supposed to be ... "you and I", right? Perhaps, you only forgot.
