Oft must I wonder

A the beauty around,

Pure and unspoiled

By which I’m bound

To be thrilled; I feel

So safe and sound!

I’m off on a mental

Cruise as I see

True beauty and bliss

Surrounding me’

The more I behold,

The wiser I be!

Such wonders around me

Leaves me enthralled;

I stop at points

Open, unwalled,

My spirit awakened,

Can never be stalled:

A mountain majestic

Towering so high;

Birds so daringly,

Gracefully fly

Above me across

The infinite sky;

Children playfully

Running around

Where the grass

Is mown on a

level ground,

Around which lilacs

And bluebells abound.

My spirit sparking

Is steered along

Trails of love

Where hearts belong

In a world of beauty,
