A life worth living doesn’t happen by accident. It’s not a matter of circumstances but of choice. Choose to live a worth-living life.

All I want is a worth living, a simple life and God fearing

People have different perceptions in life

Everyone strive for something that will make them satisfied

Because a person has no contentment while he is still alive

Ready or not but someday it will come to an end.

All the things you have treasured will be forgotten or will pass to someone else

Your wealth, fame and temporal power will shrivel to irrelevance.

Also your ambitions, hopes and plans, and to do list will expire

It doesn’t matter in what race you came from

It doesn’t also matter what you owned and what you were owed

It won’t matter whether you were beautiful or brilliant.

Even your gender and skin color will be irrelevant.

So what does it counts?

How will the value of your days be measured?

What will matter is not what you bought,

But what you built;

Not what you got,

But what you gave.

What is important is not your success, but your significance.

What is important is not what you learned, but what you taught.

What is important is every act of integrity, compassion, courage,

Or sacrifice that enriched empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example.

What is important is not your competence, but your character.

What is important is not how many people you knew,

But how many will feel a lasting loss when you’re gone.

What is important is not your memories, but the memories that live in those who loved you.

What is important is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what.

Living a life that matters doesn’t happen by accident.

It’s not a matter of circumstances but of choice.

Choose to live a worth living life.

“Because a person has no contentment while he is still alive”—this line really made me think….can anyone truly say they are content with their live…or will we always want more because when it comes down to it…we are all only human? Hmmm…

No need to add for more. Just want to back up his thoughts; some of us are materialistic nowadays. Nothing can compensate for a good heart for it is a treasure that cannot be taken away from you… Wonderful poem, keep it up!
