A poem about writer’s block.

I haven’t been able to write a word in days
Writers block has set in again
Tried to write a simple poem
No words flowed from the pen
So I decided to take a break
For a moment to clear my mind
and I thought when I came back to it
I’d find a clever rhyme
but still the page stood there
Blank as it could be
Awaiting the moment inspiration would find me
I chose a different task
Hoping to return in a few days
and writing would not be too much to ask
Maybe writing is not what I am meant to do
if I can no longer find my muse
All the silent moments make it hard
To write the chorus, let alone another verse
So what am I supposed to do
When writers block settles in
Can I find the cure
and make sure it never comes back again

This poem made me smile, kind of ironic to write you can’t write a poem in a poem :)

    Awesome work again!

A very good poem from someone who has writer\\\’s block. LOL
Don\\\’t worry. We all go through it but it does pass.

You HAD writers block and created a poem ABOUT writers block, which ironically solved the problem.

I can certainly relate, but this piece proves you still have the flair.
