Writing a Smile

I try to write a smile.

Every once in a while,

I try to write a smile.

A happy little bit,

Hopefully with some wit.

Just write the things you like

Like riding on my bike,

Playing in the yard,

It’s really not that hard.

Eating something good,

So warm and yummy food.

A playful snowball fight,

The day we flew that kite.

Getting a great big hug,

Playing boardgames on the rug.

Hearing my favorite song ,

It doesn’t take that long.

Soon I’m sure you will see,

You’ll be smiling just like me.
