Daydreaming in the middle of deadlines.

Words took me off from the ground,
I said good bye to all noisy sounds,
Calming song played in my mind,
as I hope the chaos will turn kind.

The time keep running and hunting me,
my deadlines are chasing, couldn’t you see?
This scene in my head looks like action movie,
as I am trying to break free.

Dancing on the clouds, I am.
Writing with the ink of life.

Passion of construction,
or the anger of procrastination?

I fight those chaos away,
trying to escape and wish to the sky.
Words, lift me up and let’s fly!
No matter what, let me escape for a while!

Thanks so much for all the appreciations, I’m quite surprised that many of you, my friends, still able to enjoy my simple poem even though it’s still lack of vocabularies (I think). Thank you, thank you so much for all the supports!

Wow, very nice piece. You are born “poet”….Keep up the good work….:)

  • R K Vajpeyi on May 31, 2011

You are a great poet Tang!

  • Cassle Tang on May 31, 2011

@oncewantobeawriter: Hey! Thanks! I’m not sure whether I’m a born “poet” (since actually none of my family goes well in language, most of them only get 6 out of 10 at school and no body here loves poem or other literature works like I do). LOL :) But of course, I’m glad if you think that way. That’s a huge praise for me. :) I hope I could stick to the ground now. :D

  • Cassle Tang on May 31, 2011

Wew, those smileys up there seem so good in linear path, LOL. I’m not doing that with purpose, by the way.

@Vajpeyi: Thank you! I’m glad to hear that! :) Have a great day to you, my friend.

  • PruandMe on Jul 27, 2011

If only we could all break free every once in a while . . . was the poem your escape or did it fulfill one of your deadlines?
