There are wrongdoings people commit for which they do not atone. Some are deliberate and some unintentional; nevertheless, the outcome remains the same. There are those that have the gall to blatantly lie when the truth is apparent and undeniable and those that look inward when fame and fortune appear to glorify their lives, instead of directing them toward alleviating the misery of others.

Things in which some people thrive –

Such as wrongs that they contrive

While they forge ahead unheeding

Values that they might be needing;

When they continue to do

What they feel is right and true,

See not deeper when they can

In the absence of a plan;

When they fail to see the light,

Choose, instead, the dark of night;

Deviate from rightly doing

Things that they should try pursuing;

When they know not freedom really

Should be valued, oh, so dearly!

Espousing selfishly the feeling

Bells of fortune should be peeling

Only for themselves, exclusive –

Action deemed somewhat abusive;

There are those that keep on lying

About tragedies, denying

That these never happened sadly –

Falsehoods that they utter gladly

Like the holocaust whose mystery

Being a blatant fact of history,

To all these, I humbly state,

There are those that gravitate.

    Intentional = sin,
    unintentional = mistake,
    This was a great piece of writing.

    A very creative piece about right and wrong. It gives much food for thought. Good work.
