YEARNING
I woke up one day war is at hand, Disputing ideologies reached both land;
Carnage and destructions are all over the place,
Where can I find peace, refuge and solace?
Bedlam and havoc resulted by it,
Rifting camps wanted each other’s defeat;
Opposing side used tactical decoy,
While the other, a catastrophic ploy.
Wailings and screams are reverberating,
Multitude cadavers are splay decaying;
While decomposing carcass remain unmoved,
Wounded soldiers lay unattended on a groove.
What you see is the atmosphere of annihilation,
An ambience of gory and inoperable destruction;
The stench of rot and unquantifiable deterioration, Both sides induce more violation and desecration.
Wish this unforgiving war will end soon,
But it’s not for me to say no to impugn;
Only ‘KISMET will tell us when and how,
It will be over soon someday, somehow…
