Yellow Sea is under threat

into a sea of blood and tears

when the muzzle of guns replace

quarrels and propaganda

whether they had forgotten

war fifties

which take thousands, even millions of lives

separate from the body

and the boundary line, cold war kids

separate from parents and family

now when strife

not discussed at the negotiating table

that there is a show of force

which endanger the peace of family

on the Korean peninsula

I watched from afar

arms race not over

while their children starve

thirsty, on an empty table without a dish
