I am now working at a local highschool. This week the school had orientation for the ninth graders. But I thought about the incoming seniors as well who will be graduating in 2010.

Yes I Can and I will.
Written on my heart on the words that you instill.
You untied my wings and let me fly.
You taught me how to reach up to the sky.
Yes I can and I will.
There are many shoes to fill.
And we know as we go.
Your love will teach us to do more.
Today is the day that we open our ears.
There is no doubt that we will have our fears.
But yes I can and we will.
For on our hearts are written the words that you instill.
