Lost forever.

I check my heart
At your door
I check my messages
And sometimes, press send
I forget the feel of your touch
Was it chamomile?
I close my eyes because
It’s lost to me
Washed away completely
In yesterday’s rain.

This is beautiful. I can feel the longing and the wishing to reach out and grasp hold of what is sadly forgotten. Very good job. :)

Rather profound, I thought, very beautifully penned. You are going from strength to strength.
