A poem that I wrote about a person I would rather forget.

You tried to pull me down, deep into your sin.
You pricked my finger,
never be whole, never worthy of HIS love.
I thought I told you a long time ago,
I don’t want your kind around.
I was so weak, longing for understanding,
someone who knew what it was like.
You were dark and beautiful,
so beautiful I could not see your knife.
You fucked with me, fucked with my head.
I will not forgive, I have turned my back.
Neat new people, misleading, common interest intriguing,
you must think I forgot.
With out consent you soiled me,
never be whole again, never worthy of HIS love.
I have blocked the darkness, betrayed power held,
no right to promise away.
I’ve taken it back.

Wow, Virginia this is edgy and I can feel the pain in your heart and torment. Well conveyed.

I would like to leave an intelligent comment but all I can say is that it is full of powerful emotion, well written and I pray that your heart will be mended.
    God Bless you always,
    Chris

I really liked this poem. Understanding of how you felt in the poem. Very strong. Keep on writing.

Your best works are the ones so emotionally driven that the reader feels the pain and suffering you endured. That to me is the mark of a great author/poet.
