An amateur poem written by an aspiring poet, Michael Giordano.

You can make fun of me all you want,

Taunt and tease, but who cares.

You don’t need to put someone lower than you,

Because in the end, you are no better.

I’m not the problem, you are,

And now I stand up for myself.

You think what you do is cool,

But who cares, I keep telling myself you are no better.

And now as I tell you this,

You being to back off.

So stop your nonsense,

Just stop, you are no better.

Now, as I do the same to you as you did to me,

You feel the pain, you feel the hatred.

As you start to go and get away,

I remind you and say, “You are no better.”

You think I don’t see you,

Standing there, but attempting to hide.

What are you hiding from?

You are just scared, scared that you are no better.

Run away, like they all do,

Just keep on going, and never look back,

Because if you do, I will be waiting,

Then I’ll begin to laugh, because you are no better.
