You Could Have Been, Infatuation!!!

Profound be thy grace

In a woman’s heart

Is for ever laced,

A feeling always

For someone better

Than the one

With whomsoever,

Is that some one?

So in all infatuation

Is an innate desire?

For the ultimate aim

Of love and sacrifice

Of the human domain

While for some love

Becomes a kindly infatuation,

For most it does lust remain?

What is in your mind?

Does remain,

A silent Statue of Liberty,

Understandably simple and plain,

A desire of maturity

Of integration with the infatuated one,

Who does your heart always strain?

For ever and ever

So alive does remain,

Had I been a bit younger

Ah! Perhaps someone in love

I could have converted

Infatuation into integration

Albeit,

It’s a wee bit too late,

I am ready at eternity’s gate

To be sent home

To heaven straight,

But wait…

In the far folds of a sleeking eternity

When lovers perhaps do secretly meet,

Infatuation can be taken care of for sure

If in mind love is

And

Lust is no more.
