When you are My follower and My friend,
You are like salt for everyone around you.
My Father and I are pleased to call you next of kin.
You make us so proud. It is true.
Your presence is so refreshing and new.
Your influence is winsome and contagious.
The angels often refer to you as our “true blue.”

Many come from far and near,
To be close to you so they can hear,
Assurances to overcome their doubt and fear.
In their dry and dusty daily walks,
Through you, comes comfort like a sweet shower,
Helping them to experience My care for them,
Making them aware of My presence and My power.

But beware! Beware! Beware!
Of the danger of becoming too busy to pause to pray.
Helpful habits are sustained by practice day by day.
I warned you that salt can  lose it flavor and purpose,
Then to Me it has no use and becomes worthless.
Therefore, decide you are going to spend time with Me,
Continuing to live in My Presence, as was meant to be.
