A poem about someone who irresponsible in love.

And how long do you have to live?
You’ll never truly know
The faster you live
The slower you’ll go
Take a breath, look to the sky
You can live in heaven before you die

You can do as you please, not give a care
You can confess all of your love, live free from despair
You can enjoy the little things, believe in who you are
You can forget responsibility, break free from your scars

Hold on my dear, sweet child
This world is yours to explore
Don’t you ever be afraid
To delve into the depths of your soul
If you choose, you’ll never lose
You’ll find treasures others could never know

Could you ever know
How good it was to leave you behind
To finally let you go?
