Thoughts race through my mind

Thoughts that I will never be able to let go

Thoughts that came from things I have seen

Things from my life that no one need know.

I turned to a life of dismal grief

Doing, taking whatever I saw fit

Not caring who it could really hurt

Not ever knowing if I’d ever quit.

Out of nowhere, you were there standing tall

You gave me reasons to live life anew

You saved me from my own torment and pain

My now, my future, my life; this I owe to only you!
