December 13 is Santa Lucy’s Day which is celebrated as a feast in the Scandinavian countries where it originated from and in the United States of America. It is an occasion to celebrate the winter solstice. It is the longest night.
Sometimes, you need a night,
to stay awake to do your knitting
for example, so this is the night,
on December 13, you can be feasting.
There are those who like going out at night,
to have a cup of coffee,
and who like going out at night,
to buy some toffee.
So, you know you need to be used to the night,
and to see the light shine
like the sun and light
of course the night from nine.
