A single lie leads to a dozen more
And then a web of lies is formed
A single cut causes a hundred more
Pretty soon the scars have formed
A single person leads to a thousand questions
And not long after everyone’s guessing
A single friend hurt means many more
And people start walking out the door
A single tear leads to a million more
That’s when you collapse to the floor
Beg for forgiveness and stand up once more
Believe in yourself and you’ll get through it
