I’ve done everything a man in waiting was supposed to

Made every move I was supposed to

Now it’s time for me to wear the crown

Like I’m supposed to, do

I moved four books in six years

Made grown women faint

Brought tuff thugs to tears

Received the accolades

The cheers and jeers

So I think King PoetryTap has a nice ring to your ears

I talked about the women who I dated that were crazy

I took away the biggest fears in the smallest of babies

I’ve created deep seas in the panties of many ladies

I’ve inspired all…

While standing tall in the face of those who hate me

Hello Goliath

You thought David was a mess

Meet TAP

Made money off  the top of my dome

Like adlibs

Did poetry slams and spanked whack poets

Like bad kids

And I aint even have to diss them

Leave the room and they all miss him

Because he is me

6 feet one hundred and 70 something pounds

Full of poetry

Breathing life in the barely alive

Even if they tried to bury me alive

Friend or foe I strived to save all lives

With one message…

With God through Jesus

You will survive

In simpler terms

I did my thing

Still standing in line

“And I just can’t wait to be king!”
