So much about us was is a lie

For me it was real but for you it was a ride 

You blamed me for everything

Don’t you know the havoc that you wreaked

to hide your secrets

How cruel can you be

Your actions have taken everything from me

You couldn’t care less it seems

to you it all means nothing

my children suffer, cry, have bad dreams

to you it all means nothing

for me it was everything

Love never comes easy for me, but when it does I give everything

Love is never a game to me, it’s a precious commodity

It’s amazing to me how far people will go to get what they think they need

I have learned a valuable lesson, I will put away my rose colored glasses

Pick up the pieces of my shattered dreams

I have learned to trust in the universe and yes, to trust in me

If there is another who can participate in my life as an equal

They too can live my dream, for now I am content knowing I AM what I need

I know that I am honest, caring, loyal and faithful

Deceiving or hurting another is the farthest thing from me

I have only a desire to love and be loved

Lies, abuse, manipulation these are things I detest, I want it no where near me

Unfortunately I fall prey to my own delusions, seeing good in others that they don’t see

I get trapped in walls of confusion 

Thinking the good is what will be

I must learn to see people as they truly are in that moment, the good, bad and ugly

Not what they could be

I must learn to accept all as they truly are in that moment

even when they lash out and hurt me out of insecurity

I will accept them as human but I do not have to embrace their deeds

I have the right to choose what I want to enter into my life and I choose positivity and prosperity

I feel for the loss of the innocent child caught in the crossfire of gullibility, obsession and greed

I send out love and blessings to the innocent soul, in the future one day I hope I get to see

How you turned out, what you look like and what life is like in your family

You will have a better life this way, to enter our world to us would have brought to you pain and suffering

I love you little soul, may you sparkle and shine in the lives of your future family like a queen or king

I will never forget you nor the days you spent inside of me

As for your father, I hope he finds the love and peace he needs
