A darker piece than usual, but such is our world.
Screams of agony fill the silent vacuum.
The Self dies hard,
In a sea of idolatry.
Distrust fills the void of skepticism.
Hate breeds more hate,
In the thick,
Black.
The longings of the heart
Leave a stain.
Festering wounds need to breathe,
Lest they bring death.
The darkness robs hope,
So, what is your light?
