We all look at the future a little yet, when you find the one you realize hey it may not be all that bad.

Your that story.

That i hoped to find.

Prayed to just run into.

But i know someday i’ll grow old.

I know i’ll be that woman that will still drive 80 and you’ll still be right there by my side.

But when i grow old my dear, i still want you rocking that rocking chair on the porch next to me.

If God had planned a little better i wouldn’t have gone and had my heart broken just to find “this”.

Your that story never truly told.

All you can read is the script but when everyone else looks at you.

Yet, i know you like the back of my hand.

I look at you and i see 40 years from now.

Us, living on that piece of land with that trailer on it.

That little apple tree that our kids use to love climbing in.

That old dog that when we first got him we remember all his first now he’s a little older and loved helping us put that pool together.

And he helped me put that hamock up you always said you wanted tho he knocked it down a time or too.

When that new car becomes that old car.

When that first cry becomes holding our first grandchild.

When that first house becomes that piece of land we’d never sell cause it’s what we want to grow old in. Where all our memories lie.

Yeah your that book.

Your in all those pieces and chapters of my life.

I can’t feel it yet, but when i look at you, i know deep down your here to stay.

When that impossible task and lack of money hits us, we’ll always find a way.

When we have that fight that we think will break us i know it won’t it’ll just seem like it.

I know your that story.

When that first picture of us is an old one.

When we think the happiest day of our life is when we get married we’ll have other days like that.

I know this all, as long as i have you by my side.

Cause you see, when all seems new your still new in my eyes.

You unravel like an onion yet sweet like tomatoes that i love and you hate.

Your all my dreams coming new, and all my dreams that will be old.

I love you.
