There are little moments, and moments that burst with laughter and memories.

The way grapes burst,

freshly downloading the mind

to our heart’s content,

speak mountains on how

happy you can be

in such a moment’s notice,

especially now when your laughter

lingers on like a butterfly,

in peace with the gentle breeze.

The twilight has stayed

its translucent cloudy rainbows,

and like forever its glowing wings

have spread its glory,

tilting the balance of worldly things.

Below, near the autumn flowers

whose wilted petals

begin to die off their wonder colors,

your smile remains in

flustered readiness

to go on like a memory,

notwithstanding we have already

seized the day

as if we were really not eternal,

and in no dire need for names

to live up our dreams

in a desperate season of regret.
