When you walked into the room
I drew my first breath of Love.
When you loosened your coat
I envisioned my lips against silk.
When you slipped off your shoes
You drew a laugh from inside my soul.
When you saw me staring at you
You smoldered, certain in your power.
When you looked at me without guile
You created mysteries uncountable.
When you smiled that soft smile of yours
You had my complete and undivided attention.
When you laughed, warmth filled the room
And I could not help but laugh with you.
When you cried, in that honest way of yours
I was filled with a desire to hold you in my arms.
And when you said that you loved me
You owned everything I have to give.
