And when the morning comes, you’re gone …
I saw you again last night
After a million days without your smile
I caught the shadow in your eyes
Oh how I miss those eyes
You just stood there
Watching me in a gloomy face
Which used to be so charming
And I was curious
I walked away and tried not to care
For I did not want to miss you anymore
I closed my eyes and fought the passion
But how I wish I could run to you
This heart was never yours to protect
And yours are never mine to hold
I hate your charming eyes
And I never want to see your sweet smile
I watched you slowly
And somehow you disappear
And when the morning comes
You’re gone
And I’m dazzled
Torn between
Hoping it’s the reality
or Relieved for it’s only a dream
