I always wanted someone who would always be there,
 Someone with whom my troubles to share.
One day I found that one special friend,
 The one that I knew upon I could depend.
They helped me through my trials, my struggles and my snares,
 They listened to my worries, my concerns and all my cares.
They told me that they’d be there when times got tough,
 They told me that it would be okay even when things got rough.
They were my greatest stronghold in my time of need,
 Whenever I cried out to them they were always there to heed.
This person that I speak of is not one of fortune and fame,
 They do not have a special title or a famous name.
This person is you upon whom I could depend,
 And yes, you’ve been there for me and will be there until the end.
