Some of the best quotes that I gathered on Life. Some times we need a little perspective.

Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette:

“I love my past. I love my present. I’m not ashamed of what I’ve had, and I’m not sad because I have it no longer.”

Reaction: Its a quote that we can all learn a life lesson from. A quote that its sole meaning isn’t to dwell upon it, rather understand the past. It should not make you regret or be “ashamed”. Great quote

Ernest L. Woodward

“So great has been the endurance, so incredible the achievement, that, as long as the sun keeps a set course in heaven, it would be foolish to despair of the human race.”

Reaction: This quote really uplifts the ego of man. Its telling us that as long as the human race keeps going that our achievements are so great that it would be a shame if it where to end.

John Lennon- Beautiful Boy

“Life is what happens to you
While you’re busy making other plans”

Reaction: From a man who all either loved or wanted to be. Really pondering on this quote is something to be taken aback by, for while I did not realized that its partly true. If everything happens as you want it to then its a robotic world, but if things happen that’s not part of you’re plan then that’s what life is. (according to Lennon)

         Quentin Crisp

You fall out of your mother’s womb, you crawl across open country under fire, and drop into your grave

Reaction: This quote is on the summary of  life itself. At your first look all you can say is how depressing it            is,       but I got          something else out of it. If you look at this quote from a positive point of view then          what the quote is              telling you is that life by itself is bland but with your choices……………. That is         where the quote leaves off             and another is put in its shadow.

Thanks for reading part one of life quotes. Sometimes we need a little perspective in this vast complex universe.
