Let Dawn Break.

I know I haven’t been doing my daily daybreaks as I promised, but someone inspired me early this morning and I thought I would get back on here.  As I wake at 5:03 am in the morning, the sun is dawning, the birds are chirping, the mist is on the grass, and you can smell the morning air.  The mountains look a beautiful purplish gray and green, and the bottom of the white clouds in the blue sky above have a reddish-pink tint to them.  It seems so peaceful. All the world around me is just waking and it’s the day before the birth of our Independence.

I haven’t yet woken up to absorb the comings of the day, the financial stress of my life or job, the relationship’s that are great and mixed up, and the smiles of someone that’s always there.  That’s life. But right now, it’s peaceful.

Next time you are stressed, next time you are reflective – look at the mountains, stare at the fire, watch the waves roll in….and love the rain on the tin roof and do not be sad because it’s raining, be lulled to sleep and know you are comforted.  Why do you think people pay top dollar to be ocean side, me mountain side, be fire side….or buy a wave machine….if you can’t afford it? You cannot say to me that you don’t like those things. Everybody does.

All I have to say is someone reminded me again that it is the simple things in life.
Remember that too this weekend. Take back your independence.
