On Art and Artists

• The only science with a soul is art
• If art is illogical, beauty will give it some logic
• I’m not here to please anybody but myself. That’s the final evolution of a genuine artist, the summary of all his works.
• All arts should sing. If they don’t, they don’t make any sense at all.
• My goal is art. Science is only a tool, an aid to achieve this goal.
• The artist may explain his art for the benefit of those critics who don’t understand
• A new form of art always teaches us something new. No matter how abhorrent it is to ordinary people, that “something new” will soon gather a following.
