Here are the top ten quotes from famous scientists and thinkers.

10) “How discoveries are made? Some fool, who doesn’t know that some things are impossible comes and creates a discovery, which proves that everybody were wrong about it.”

Albert Einstein

That’s a great quoute! A genius is a person, who is not afraid to chalenge the rules and current believes.

9)”I love fools’ experiments. I am always making them.

Charles Darwin

Words coming from the greatest biologist of all times.

8)”He who has overcome his fears will truly be free.”

Aristotle

One of the greatest philosophers really has a good point. This simple but meaningful quote shows us what a big enemy our fear can be.

7)”There’s real poetry in the real world. Science is the poetry of reality.

Richard Dawkins

Couldn’t agree more.

6)”The more we know of things, the more we know of God.”

Baruch Spinoza

It’s really fascinating how even the most amazing miracles can be explained by science and vice versa. Maybe we can explain not only how world works, but also what god is by science.

5)Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.”

Albert Einstein

Here’s one for the Christians. From the legendary figure of science – Albert Einstein.

4)I didn’t arrive at my understanding of the fundamental laws of the universe through my rational mind.”

Albert Einstein

He was a scientist who looked from a different angle to everything. His strongest weapon was his imagination. That’s why every young mind should know that only imagination, our goals and the process of seeking them cam make a person truly great. Greatest discoveries lie in the dark corners of our imagination and not our school diploma, grades or IQ.

3)”I can calculate the motions of the heavenly bodies, but not the madness of people.”

Sir Isaac Newton

Some things just cannot be weighted or predicted. One of these things is of course stupidity of people. It’s ironic how we are both great inventors, geniuses, explorers and great fools at the same time. A truly humorous quote too.

2)”Genius is nothing else than a great aptitude for patience.”

George-Louis de Buffo

The ones who succeed are the ones who tried the most.

1)Cogito, ergo sum” – “I think, therefore I exist.”

Rene Descartes

This simple little quote illustrates and shows us the importance of thinking. What can be more important than our existence? That’s how important thinking is to us. It is the strongest weapon, godly power, cause of all good and evil.

“Some fool who doesn’t know that something is impossible creates a discovery which proves that everybody was wrong.”
    (quote from Albert Einstein)

    >>That’s a great quote! A genius is a person, who is not afraid to challenge the rules and current beliefs.”

So we all say… and so we all would like to believe. “An open mind, willing to challenge the establishment and it’s hide-bound rules.” But take note of the treatment accorded Prof. Michael Behe and others like him, by the scientific community. In all of his writings, Behe never refers to scriptural or ecclesiastic authority. He sticks to description of the scientific facts. But (regardless of whether his views stand the test of time or not), because he does not conclude that Darwinian Evolution is able to create life from non-life, or that it is able to create complex biological systems using nothing but chance mutation and natural selection, he is denounced and ridiculed by both scientists and journalists. The same treatment that secularists accuse Christians of once directing against people who questioned “The Faith” is now directed by those secularists against those who question “The Theory”. It doesn’t matter who you think is “right”. Time and Reason will decide that. What matters is the willingness to allow other interpretations and opinions to be expressed. I have yet to read a calm, unbiased critique of Behe’s work that even trys to avoid using the demagogue’s favorite weapons… ridicule and denunciation. The spokesmen for the scientific community claim that “Intelligent Design” is wrong, but their reaction to it strongly suggests that they are more afraid of it than they are skeptical of it. Their negative reaction is as much a factor in my doubting Darwin as is Behe’s analysis. Atheists claim to not believe in either God or Santa Claus. But I can’t help noticing… they aren’t AFRAID of St. Nick.
