The incredible life of Genghis Khan.
While the Khan was still young, some horses were stolen,
So he and his steed the tracking begun.
His mount too tired to catch up to them,
Just added up to all the mayhem.
He encountered a boy of the same age,
So he and his friend the enemy engage.
With the bow, the Khan took a shot
and the horseman fell right on the spot.
Finishing the enemy, with his new friend,
the search for the horses came to an end.
Well, when Genghis Khan increased his reign,
Many got jealous of his domain.
The most dangerous conspirator proved to be,
The shaman known as Tebtengri.
Instead of violence, he used his tricks,
And made situations the Khan couldn’t fix
Without making whole bunches of trouble,
And so the shaman worked on the double.
Of the shaman the Khan became suspicious,
And paid him death for all his ruckus.
This Mongol ruler, Genghis Khan,
Ain’t as scary as Davey Kang*,
But he still took over the Chinese,
And stole all the good from their cities.
He instilled in the emperor an emotion called fear
So that he’d run away like a yellow-belly deer.
Defeating the Chinese was kinda hard,
Because the great wall was their constant guard.
So the Khan didn’t threaten, but he was kind,
And killed all the rebels he could fund.
They slowly let him in their wall,
And that was the Chinese fall.
*Davey Kang is not a historical figure, sadly, but he is my best friend.
