Someone taking the fall for a crime someone else committed.
On trial for his character and soul
Sorry about the dramatics, but the courtroom is tense
Witnesses will testify
The prosecution prefers to carry out the evidence as they see fit
Smoke coming from the defense, arrows pointing to misdirection
Plaintiff cannot make a sound, his voice is weak
Too bad his mind is in hell and his expression is meek
Some citizens who consider themselves immune cheer and jest
Of the halting of his rebellion due to arrest
Now the system wants to hold him at bay
Tear up his life and throw him away
He’ll take the rap
Since he’s the sap
Nothing else to create
He’s the failure processed to dissipate
