I felt like the rap game had to change, and only a small group of people were gonna do it so, why not my group. Only a handful of people has changed the world already…

I’m chillin wit Jose, the Japan-man
Wait a minute, he’s a Cuban-man
Alright, I guess that’s one less color then
So much aura that’s coming out these men
Hold up…where’s the other dude, Adrian
Now I step up peacefully like a Haitian-man
We come in like CH, and we out like ANGE
So now we ain’t have no more money to play this game
But do you really wanna play something that won’t change
In History, you can’t repeat yourself, switch it please
Or you gonna repeat yourself, until you burning
So I can’t deal with fakeness, a-pproach-ing
So if you really think you can deal, we’ll burn thee
We’ll just blaze you on the streets like a Ferrari

It’s like a tree when it grows, a fire when it burns
It’s like a river when it flows, or the earth how it turns
but even within the same, somethings change
somethings change(x2)

Sound out the volume of length, to stretch truth
Then pump up the relation of realizing greatness
I don’t understand it, I just try to relate it myself
But me and I, try to defy what’s it’s about now
Like how back then it was political and expressive
Now it’s about the product but too excessive
They say they sitting on rims, well, let them
They say they about that lean, so tip them
And if they all about greens, then paint them
Cause I’ll always be about space like the Jetsons
I listen to controversy like apartheid’s definition
So you gotta understand, the game has changed
If only it could stay the same like the prices of gas
But if that’s the case we’ll just breath smoke like it’s our last

It’s like a tree when it grows, a fire when it burns
It’s like a river when it flows, or the Earth how it turns
But even within the same, somethings change
somethings change(x2)

I’ll lay the foundation like how bricks lay
So the political bad wolf, don’t blow me away
Then I’ll stay on just as my hair do on my chinny chin chin
So while I’m here let me shake you up like ring-y, ring ring
For this game I ain’t going for the belt, I’m going for help
Cause rap is really dying, and look who’s listening
Much worst, look who in it spitting, about the same old things
Rap has been a coma for about 15 long years
Me and my crew came to wait for when it wakes in tears
So while you cheer the poison on, we are here for the cure
Though we are unsure if the donation we put will put through
But due to the faith of music, and who you listen to the lifestyle will change
And so much money is in it for the spending, just look how it did our living
That can’t be, that ain’t right, I’ll just change life like life changed Lyfe Jennings

It’s like a tree when it grows, a fire when it burns
It’s like a river when it flows, or the Earth how it turns
But even within the same, somethings change

Although in the words of Tupac Amaru Shakur, “Somethings will never change.”
