A Sci-Fi comedy about aliens curious about what human beings do.
Unaware, everyone in the court did not notice that an NBA scout with dark long hair, Dan Hill (Bill Murray type), happened by when Sean was doing his thing and had been watching all the time beside Scot and Chris. Nudges Chris. . .
(Very much interested)
Hey, you happen to know that guy who did all those stunts?
(Looking plainly at the guy)
Yes… he is our friend.
Scout looking at Sean, then at Scot and Chris, in wonder how the three got together with an older shorty…
(Excited with both hands in his pockets)
Could you . . . could you . . . introduce me to him?
(Sideways looking up to the guy)
How could we introduce you to him when we don’t even know you?
(Pulls out both hands and extending both)
Oh, yah! By the way I am Dan Hill and a scout for NBA players!
The two aliens look at each other in agreement that this is a good break for them.
He’s on his way here, let’s just wait for him.
(Rubbing both hands then blowing it)
Fine . . . just fine with me!
Still a few more steps from them, the scout eagerly moves forward to meet Sean. Scot holds him back in discipline.
You said fine, then let’s wait.
Embarrassed, the scout steps back, again rubbing his hands. Scot looks at both of them. Sean gets to them…
They think I’m good. So what do we do next?
This is next, meet Dan Hill a scout for NBA players.
(Extending both hands)
That’s right! That’s right! How would you like to go for a try-out with the Sacramento Rings?
The three aliens exchange looks in wonder what try-out means.
(To scout)
What do you mean go for a try-out?
Of course, the team won’t just take him in. They would like to see how he plays and if he has that, what they call, team spirit!
THE ALIENS:
Ohhhhhh… we see… we understand what you mean.
After a two-hour flight, the scout and the three aliens arrive outside the office of the Sacramento Rings, in a rental car. As soon as they’re out of the car, the scout hurriedly leads them into the building. At the office, the scout enters the room first. . .
