I recently had the opportunity to speak with Internationally renowned psychic, Gabrielle Crofts. Gabrielle has appeared as a psychic detective on mainstream television in Japan.

We discuss one of Gabrielle’s more memorable cases, a decapitation case, police had not yet been able to identify the victim and the location of her body had not been divulged to Gabrielle.

Gabrielle, or Gabby as she had me call her had given me her travelling partner’s (Duglass) details to gather information prior to my interview.

Wendy: I just got off the phone to Duglass about the Bara Bara (decapitation) case:

Gabby: You know I just remember basic stuff.

Wendy: She did mention that at the time that you go through this sort of thing, you appear to not really take in a lot of what you just saw, you tend to just blurt out a lot of information that you’re getting but you don’t seem to retain a lot of it because of the state that you’re in. Is it like a trance Gabby?

Gabby: No, it’s just like someone sometimes puts over and I don’t have a great deal of choice about what’s done. Like for instance, I have a lot of difficulty walking with an old injury and with one of the cases a little girl took over my body and she made me walk way up this hill that just about killed me and I was so exhausted afterwards that I just slept all that night.

Wendy: “Cause that”s not something that you would normally do?

Gabby: Oh my god in heaven, no. If I can do twenty steps, it’s a miracle.

Me: So the spirit actually takes over you?

Gabby: Yes, just on rare occasions, I don’t normally allow it but in her case it was required.

Wendy: The bara bara case, it was a 65 to 70 year old woman?

Gabby: Yes

Wendy: And you know her name?

Gabby: Yue, that’s her name, or it sounds like. (pronounced Yee)

Her torso was found, legless, armless, headless. I actually picked up psychically where it would have been dumped.

Wendy: OK and it’s my understanding that boatmen found the torso?

Gabby: Yeah, they found her on the side of the road where she was dumped.
