A melodramatic version of the children s fairytale Jack & Jill.
(Jack & Jill enter. Jill skipping/singing and Jack pretending to be educated)
Jill: Come on Jack! Hurry up, we’ve got to get the water.
Jack: We are never going to get the water, it’s all the way up the hill. Where Esmeralda lives, it’s useless really.
Jill: It’s alright, just skip and all your fears disappear.
(Jack looks reluctant)
Jack: Ok Jill.
(Jack & Jill start skipping and singing merrily. Exit)
(Esmeralda enters followed by Harry)
Esmeralda: Harry, I’m tired of looking at you open the window.
Harry: Yes master.
(Opens a window)
Esmeralda: Ahhhh what a gruesome day it is! Quite Disgusting actually, don’t you think Harry?
Harry: Not really. I quite like the sun in the meadows with the all the little butterflies.
Esmeralda: I would hurt you Harry but it’s such a gruesome day. Hurt yourself
Harry: Yes master
(Slaps himself)
Harry: Thank you master.
(Harry leaves)
Esmeralda: Now Harry, hurry up and get me a chair.
(Esmeralda sits in chair and glairs out the window)
(Jack & Jill skip on stage. Esmeralda sees something in the distance. Starts squinting as she notices Jack & Jill)
Esmeralda: What is that Harry?
Harry: Children master
Esmeralda: Well of course it’s children Harry, I knew that, now slap yourself.
(Harry slaps himself)
Harry: Thank you master.
Esmeralda: Harry, Quickly, let’s get them before they steal my water from my well.
(Whilst walking off)
Harry: Don’t you mean our water master?
Esmeralda: No Harry, myyyyy water. Slap yourself Harry, there’s a good boy.
(Harry sighs. Exits. From off stage there is a loud clap)
Harry: Thank you master.
(Esmeralda hobbles off stage with an evil smile)
(Super-ish Enters)
Super-ish: I am Super-ish
(Everyone claps/cheers. Super-ish gestures fans to quiet down)
Super-ish: I am strong…(Goes to pick up box…fails)…ish
(Less claps)
Super-ish: I am Handsome…(Looks into mirror…mirror breaks)…ish
(One clap. Super-ish tries to recover the situation)
Super-ish: I can fly…(Jumps)…kind of.
