K: Hi Robin
R: Hi Carrot….I mean Kara.
K: That’s not funny
R: Sure it is Carrot, Carrot, Carrot!
K: Stop that!
R: He doesn’t even know your name.
K: At least he was close
R: Hahaha sure he was…..
K: It’s not funny!
R: Get over it he doesn’t know who you are
K: Sure he does
R: He called you Carrot
K: I kinda like that name, it sorta got a…..ring to it.
R: Sure a ring, that’s what we call it these days
K: Shut up you are just jealous!
R: Oh yes Kara I’m soooo jealous of you. You got it so right.
K: I knew it!
R: Come on jealous of what?
K: Jimmy!!!
R: He don’t even like you!
K: He will some day.
R: Haha I’m sure
K: Zip it! I love him!
R: You call that love?
K: Yep I do
R: Hahahaha Keep thinking that.
K: I will.
R: As long as that helps you sleep at night go right ahead
K: What’s that supposed to mean?
R: Oh……nothing!
K: Roooobbbbiiiinnnn……???
R: Soooooo how did you like them Red Sox?
K: Nice try Blondie. Sorry to tell you the season is over, did you forget?
R: Ahhhhh…..ummmmmmmm……
K: Nothing to say? That’s typical.
R: Whatever…
K: Nothing to say still?
R: Let’s talk about someone more important
K: Oh well I’m sorry! What would you like to talk about then since I seem to be boring you?
R: Jason!!! Duh!!!!
K: I don’t understand why you are so obsessed with him.
R: It’s not obsession it’s love
K: Just cuz he talked to you once in science doesn’t make it love
R: Didn’t you see the look he gave me?
K: You had corn in your teeth!!!
R: Big deal….he loves me!!!! …….He just doesn’t know it yet.
K: And when do you plan on telling him?
R: Ummmm never really thought about that.
K: Well you have to make your move, summer is almost here. You will run out of time.
R: I know that. I’m just too shy…..what about Jimmy?
K: What about him?
R: When are you gonna tell him he has to love you?
K: He already does
R: I’m sure…..when are you gonna work up the courage to talk to him
K: I don’t know…
R: How about now?
K: I’m not ready.
R: Now!!!!
K: I’m scared!
R: (flapping her wings and make noises to imitate a chicken) Don’t be a chicken
K: I ain’t no chicken.
R: Prove it!!!!
K: What do I got to lose
R: (under her breathe so Kara can’t hear) Your dignity….
K: What was that?
R: Oh nothing…….
K: (she goes towards Jimmy’s table skipping merrily) Wish me luck
R: Good luck!!!!
K: (giggling and shuddering the whole time) Hi Jimmy (After he says hi back she goes running back to her table where Robin is sitting waiting)
R: How did it go?
K: He said hi and smiled at me. He actually smiled at me!!!!
R: Oh my gosh!!!! Then what happened?
K: I walked away and he turned back towards all his friends
R: Look at him
(they both turn to look in his direction)
K: He can’t stop talking about me.
(They both stand up)
R: He loves you he loves you!!!!!
K: He loves me he loves me!!!!!
R: I’m so jealous. You got a boyfriend.
K: I got a boyfriend. A boyfriend.
R: Jimmy and Kara sitting in a tree K I S S I N G!!!!!
K: This is the best day of my life I can’t wait to go home and write about it in my diary
(They both jump up and down for joy: Kara saying he loves me over and over again and Robin saying he loves you over and over again)
