Human history is a unique mixture of success and failure, victory and defeat, love and war. The massacre was one such event that has caused the death of many innocent people and those who start a massacre in order to satisfy their thirst for vengeance and for human egos.
Throughout the history you will find a variety of events of the massacre of large and small that have changed the world, but these 10 are definitely the largest massacre in the history of mankind.

The Nanking massacre, also known as the Rape of Nanking where hundreds of thousands of civilians have been killed and raped brutally in the city of Nanking which was the former capital of the Republic of China. the massacre lasted for six weeks in which the soldiers of the Imperial Army entered the city of Nanking and Japan began to kill the Chinese people. The Nanking massacre is considered the worst slaughter in human history as more than 80 thousand men and women murdered, tortured and raped in a period of six weeks.
2. Pig Yards Massacre
Slaughter Pigs Yards occurred in 1941 when more than 33 thousand Jews are killed in a single operation led by the military Governor, major-general Friedrich Eberhardt, Army Commander Friedrich Jeckeln Police Group South and C Commander Otto Rasch. The operation was carried out by the combined forces like the SS, the SD and SiPo. Pig Yards is a ravine outside Kiev which is the capital of Ukraine.
3. St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre
Also popularly known as the Massacre de la Saint-Barthelemy these events happen in 1572 in Paris. The massacre began two days after the assassination of Admiral Gaspard de Coligny, who was a military and political leader of the Huguenots. Soon after that a group of murder along with the Roman Catholic mass began to start killing people all over Paris and the massacre spread to other urban and rural areas as well. It is estimated that about 30 thousand people were killed in the massacre.
4. the NKVD Prisoner Massacre
NKVD Prisoner massacre also known as the massacre of Prisoners in which a series of mass executions committed against prisoners NKVD in Poland and other Baltic countries like Romania and Ukraine. The death toll from the massacre is estimated at about 22,000 prisoners were killed in a series of murders that occurred in different places. However, not all the prisoners of the NKVD and executed because some of them managed to escape from prison.
5. the Katyn massacre
The Katyn massacre, also known as the Katyn Forest Massacre is an event where thousands of prisoners of war in Poland, military officers, intellectuals, and police were massacred by the Soviet NKVD. The victims were taken to the Katyn Forest in Russia, where Stalin ordered his troops to execute all the prisoners of war firsthand. The death toll from the Katyn massacre was also reached about 9 thousand.

The massacre of Thessaloniki take place in a retaliation by the Roman Emperor Theodosius in 390. Three years prior to this event, the United Kingdom troops in Kabul arrested for revenge on the Afghanistan. However, when the United Kingdom leaving Kabul, Afghanistan forces led by Akbar Khan, son of Dost Muhammad Khan invaded the United Kingdom. As a result of 4500 soldiers killed in Afghanistan and was killed by the United Kingdom and India.
8. the massacre of Sabra and Shatila
In 1982, the Kataeb Party which was led by the Christian forces of Lebanon do the massacre in which they killed and slaughtered Palestinian civilians and Lebanese Muslims. The event is triggered immediately after the massacre, the killing of the leader of President Bachir Gemayel and the Phalange party. More than 3,500 people are killed in this massacre. 9. the Batak Massacre
Batak massacre was a massacre of Bulgaria in Batak by Ottoman troops in 1876. According to the sources and references there are more than 3,000 people were killed in the massacre.
10. the massacre of Granada
Granada massacre is an event where a bunch of Muslims stormed the Royal Palace of Granada and kill the Jewish ruler, Joseph Ibn Naghrela who was a vizier of King Barber from Granada. Mob stormed into the Palace and crucify him and kill about 1500 Jewish families living in Granada.
